    Species reactivity
Human (Homo sapiens); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.

    Storage and shipping
Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

    Description
cell adhesion molecules play a role in cell growth and activation and are often identified by WB or ELISA as in the CD66c,e (Carcinoembryonic CEA Antigen Adhesion Molecule 5, Non-specific Cross-reacting Antigen, NCA CD66c) Antibody.Antigens are peptides or recombinant or native dependent on the production method. For cells, cell lines and tissues in culture till half confluency.Whole adhesion and interacting molecules are  present in lysates used as reference for ELISA quantification of these molecules and their subunits.

    Specificity and cross-reactivity
Recognizes human CD66c and CD66e, members of the carcinoembryonic antigen family (NCA and CEA respectively. In flow cytometry this antibody stains peripheral blood granulocytes, but not monocytes or lymphocytes. In IHC the antibody stains a range of tumor cells and also neutrophils and some endothelial cells. Cross-reactivity with other members of the CEA family has not been reported, but has not been formally excluded.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
