Monoclonals of this antigen are available in different clones. Each murine monoclonal anibody has his own affinity specific for the clone. Mouse monoclonal antibodies are purified protein A or G and can be conjugated to FITC for flow cytometry or FACS and can be of different isotypes.

Storage and shipping

Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add glycerol (40-50%) and aliquot. For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Specificity and cross-reactivity

Recognizes the N-terminal neoepitope sequence (FFGV....) generated at the ?MMP cleavage site? after MMP catabolism in the interglobular domain of aggrecan between amino acids..PEN341 and 342FFG.. (Human sequence enumeration). Detects bands between approximately 60 and 150kD. Species Crossreactivity: Crossreacts with Human, Rat, bovine, Guinea pig, Horse and Pig. ; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
