Description

Antigens are peptides or recombinant or native dependent on the production method.

Form/Appearance

Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.09% sodium azide, before the addition of glycerol to 40%.

Species reactivity

Human (Homo sapiens), Monkey; Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.

Other names

HLA class I histocompatibility antigen, A-1 alpha chain; HLA class I histocompatibility antigen, A-68 alpha chain; HLA class I histocompatibility antigen, A-1 alpha chain; antigen presenting molecule; leukocyte antigen class I-A; MHC class I antigen HLA-A heavy chain; major histocompatibility complex, class I, A; Aw-68; HLA class I histocompatibility antigen, A-28 alpha chain; MHC class I antigen A*68

Storage and shipping

Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. Long-term storage should be done after aliquoting the antibody and freezing the aliqotes at -20 degrees Celsius. Under these conditions the aliquots will be stable for at least one year if kept at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Specificity and cross-reactivity

Recognizes human HLA-B7 antigen. Does not cross-react with HLA-B27 or other related antigens. Distinguishes true HLA-B27 positives from false HLA-B27 positives (ie HLA-B7 positive) in the investigation of diseases such as ankylosing spondylitis and anterior uveitis. Species Crossreactivity: Cynomolgus monkey.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
